OS X Yosemite screen shot of a virgin install. Everything looks "different".

See the truck in the lower left corner? Put on your glasses... he's on the mud-flaps. "BACK OFF!"

So I got the OS X 10.10 beta preview installed on my work iMac.

CC 2014 works.

Pitstop works.

Prinergy Workshop, Insite, and Preps all work.

Java and Flash are working.

Printers print.

Filemaker 13 works.

Safari, Firefox, and Chrome all work.

Email works.

Screen Sharing works.

There area few display problems with some displaced pixels in some dialog boxes.

Networking seemed a little funky with my servers until I created a hosts file listing them. Much better after doing that.

Preps 6 or 7?
"There's been a lot of research recently on how hard it is to dislodge an impression once it's been implanted in someone's mind. (This is why political attack ads don't have to be true to be effective. The other side can point out their inaccuracies, but the voter's mind privileges the memory of the original accusation, which was juicier than any counterargument ever could be.)"

Speed doesn't kill, rapidly becoming stationary is the problem
