Don't slap me, but does anybody have a copy of Multi-Ad Creator 6 or 7 they want to get rid of? I need the whole thing, not just an upgrade. Reasonably priced, of course. I'm trying not to have to bite the bullet for a $200 upgrade.

If I had it I'd give you the piece of crap. We banned it here about 5 years ago. The last version we had was an OS 9 version and I don't think we even still have the disks.

Well, what can I say, I like the poor thing. If I can upgrade that, that's as new and improved as I'm going to get on my system. My version is the last OS9 program I use.

The only place i know that has a copy, and perhaps one for sale, is Certified Ad Services. They're a bunch of douches, but good luck! http://www.certifiedad.com/
"There's been a lot of research recently on how hard it is to dislodge an impression once it's been implanted in someone's mind. (This is why political attack ads don't have to be true to be effective. The other side can point out their inaccuracies, but the voter's mind privileges the memory of the original accusation, which was juicier than any counterargument ever could be.)"

Thanks, you never know. I figured with all the people who hate it, somebody must have an old copy in the closet.

I'm surprised DCS doesn't have a set, of course it would be on the big 8 inch floppys

I MAY have it, but it would be older than what she has, guaranteed. It's been a LONG, LONG time since I have messed with Multi-Ad. What's the newest version anyway? Do they still make it?

:puke:You're Buying More Than Just Software, You're Buying Creator Professional :puke2:

Creator Professional is a smart investment. We take pride in the fact that Creator Professional is more complete (and more affordable) out of the box than any other desktop publishing program. With Creator Professional, you receive a complete program: no extensions or plug-ins required. Much of Creator Professional's functionality is unavailable in other layout software, even with the addition of extensions and plug-ins, but if you tried, you would well exceed $3,000* per copy. Even then you could not match the way Creator Professional delivers its features in an easy-to-use and learn interface, which are all backed by unbeatable customer service.

Creator Professional version 8 (Mac/PC) $499
Upgrade to Creator Professional version 8 (Mac/PC) $199
Volume and educational pricing available. Call for details.

Hey Possum - there is an "update" on Versiontracker that may get you to 7.5. Free? I'm not sure, but try this link: http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/mac/17016

Good luck!

Thanks, but I've investigated many of those "update" files. They're just demos. I wish I had gotten an upgrade before they quit making the desktop version, I'd only have to fork over $99 instead of $199. Ah, well, I guess this is why God made credit cards.

Well, I bit the bullet and got the upgrade. Found out what I had – bought on E-bay – was an evaluation version, but they let me get the upgrade anyway. No problems, just download, plug in the serial number, and away it goes. No big hassles like with Adobe software or the stuff I've heard about registering Quark. Of course, I don't imagine there are many people trying to steal Creator, but the people there sure are nice, even checking with me to make sure I got the serial number and everything's fine. Sure beats all the Adobe stories – their forum is entertaining.
