Any recommendations for a wireless networked HD for the wife and I to both share with our macbooks? (storing photos mainly, but other docs and pron as well   :tapedshut: )

I'd like 500GB or 1TB...

If your router has the USB feature you can plug any old USB drive into it and everyone on your network can access it at the same time. My under $100 Netgear router has this feature. Very handy.

Mine has it too but I've never used it.

I just stuck an old 320 gb IDE drive into an external USB case and plugged it into the router. Gives me a network drive available across the network and I don't have to setup file sharing between computers if I want to get something from one computer to the other.

Does that trick work with a non-network printer?
"There's been a lot of research recently on how hard it is to dislodge an impression once it's been implanted in someone's mind. (This is why political attack ads don't have to be true to be effective. The other side can point out their inaccuracies, but the voter's mind privileges the memory of the original accusation, which was juicier than any counterargument ever could be.)"
