Is it possible to get Object Effect dimensions to scale with object?

Anyone know if there's a way to have any effects used on an object in Indy to scale down with the object without having to change it manually? Somehow I'd like to connect them. I created a logo in AI and want to keep it a vector file. Flattening it is out of the question. The desired effect I wanted I did in Indy but scaling the logo keeps my effects the same measurements and I'd like them to scale down with the logo. There's probably not a way to do it and I can't get the kind of bevel I want in AI. Well.......not simply. I guess I can use the mesh tool or mess around with paths or Smart objects and do my bevel in PS but I'd like to see if this is possible........because I'm lazy.

It's not scaling with the object? You mean the layer effects like drop shadow, bevel and emboss, etc...?

No. That doesn't work.  :banghead: I have that selected. But let me fish around in the prefs..........

I just tried it on some text and the effects scale with the object for me.

It even shows the same dimensions in the settings box. Joe, if you put a .125" bevel on an object, duplicate it and scale it down 50%, your bevel becomes .0625"? That's just an example there are all those other settings that need to be honored as well. I don't think it's possible.

curious are you using Object->Transform? or scaling with the scale tool?

AHHHH...I see what you mean now. I thought you meant the effect no longer fit the object. It still fits the object but the actual size of the effect does not change. OK...it does that to me too.

t-pat, I tried both Object->Transform and the scaling tool and the effect size does not change either way.
