How do you impose two different types of products in one apogee 9 job? I have an 8.5x11 brochure I want to gang with a 12 pg 5.5x8.5 book, but I can't figure out how to put an unbound flat double sided piece as a different part with a saddle stitched product.

It's been a loooooong time since I used apogee but I used preps and add independent page in order to do something like this.
Speed doesn't kill, rapidly becoming stationary is the problem

I'd rather have stories told than be telling stories of what I could have done.

sooo, what I ended  up doing was making all the pages double-sided flat pieces. Then after apogee did whatever it wanted, I dragged the pages around and fixed all the gutters and gaps and bleeds so it would print right. I'd still like to know if there's an easier way.

In Apogee there is no way to combine a Bound product with an Unbound product. The best you can do is fake it like you did, or do a series of Unbound Folded products as 4pagers for the book portion.
