I haven't figured out a way to make different plate slug lines in 1 job
example 4 plates in 1 job that would have a different job name for each
I am currently outputting these as 4 separate jobs.

not a big deal but if there is a way that would be cool.

What rip system are you using?

Tracy

oops sorry I thought the Fuji XMF topic would show up.

If I understand you right you want to run multiple forms in one XMF job and get different slug and/or management lines on the plates.
(Ex. Job #xxxxxx, Letterhead, #10, BC)
Here's how I do it. Create the job in XMF and bring in all associated files. Create a section for each different piece in the job and apply the needed files to each section. For each section you will most likely then need a separate workflow set to differentiate each form's imposition (and it helps keep things clear when plating). Then the only way I've been able to get different callouts on the plates is to include the "section" selection in either slug or management, or both. If you name your sections right (i.e. LH, #10, BC) you will get that in the tagline.

hope this helps.

Sweet, Did not know about the "section" in management info and the ability to rename a section.
Thanks!

Glad I could help. You can also rename your workflow sets to match your sections simply by clicking on the workflow set name and typing. Really helps us keep ours organized.
