Best way to create Email templates with Mac Mail?
also is there anyway to not get signature images to show up as attachments?

DigiCorn

Don't know about the attachments/images, but in Thunderbird, I create the signature, then save as an .html file and link it as a signature file.

(This is why political attack ads don't have to be true to be effective. The other side can point out their inaccuracies, but the voter's mind privileges the memory of the original accusation, which was juicier than any counterargument ever could be.)"

Yea, pretty sure you have to link a sig with images.

Most of my customers don't do this so when I save all from their emails I end up with all their crappy sig images too.

I hate those sigs that end up as attachments!
and I'm putting sales sigs on email templates
I used to do all emails from pc but moving everything to my new mac, well "newish" now
but just starting to use it

Joe

It seems it is possible to get an image in the sig without it being an attachment in Apple Mail though I have not tried it. You will need someplace online to store your image files though (like photobucket or some other free image site).

Often times my boss will come dashing in here asking WTF am I supposed to do with that shitty image file. (90% is large format) 100% of the time she has downloaded the signature/logo instead of the real file. Tee hee.

Sure you can. From the file menu "Save Attachments..." saves all of the attachments of the selected email to wherever you specify.
