I've been asked to modify our Preflight workflow so the Preflight Report is saved on a server NOT associated with Nexus.  In Graphics, we have our own mini-network - Job_Server, (2) Nexus boxes, and a Back-up server (for archiving printed jobs).  They want to save the Preflight reports on the main company server.

The problem (as I see it) in in the Archive/Export module, I can only select the "Default Server" as a target.  I'm connected to the company server, but I do not see that as an option for targeting the final location.

Any help would be appreciated.

I've been away from Nexus too long to try to be offering advice but I think we used to have to map a network share to the Nexus server PC so it shows up as a normal drive letter on the server and then you could use that as a final destination.

Thanks, Joe.  Now that you say that, it's kind of coming back to me.

It's been about 5 years since we've had to do that.  I'll have to go thru my notes.

Correct, in windows set up a folder mapping. Then in the pitstop module you can adjust the output to save the file to the mapped drive.
