Quote from: Tracy on June 23, 2016, 11:38:30 AMRut Ro, since the install of Illustrator, when I try to Edit object in From Acro to Illy an error
comes up AIGPUsniffer has closed unexpectedly, I found a solution:
In Adobe Bridge Preferences change the file extension to Illy not GPU Sniffer
it didn't help

Which file extension are you supposed to change?

In my screen shot above, you see where it says File Type Associations?
then to the right and down a little where it says illustrator the setting is aigpusniffer and you
can change it to adobe illustrator cc2015

let me know if it works!!

I prolly confused you by calling it a file extension-sorry

Joe

Yeah but it isn't trying to open an illustrator file. It is opening a PDF from Acrobat. That is why I don't think Bridge is part of the problem.

Tracy, I got 'Edit Object' to work finally by uninstalling Illustrator 2015.3 and then re-installing it. Now the object opens up in Illustrator without the AIGPUSniffer error.

Thanks Joe! Don't know what I would do without you :-*

Tracy

all is good now!
I put the aigpusniffer back on in the bridge everything ok
I had to leave on to illy on Bridge cs6
should I uninstall Bridge CS6?

Joe

You can. I don't see a reason to have it on there twice.
