Agfa ApogeeX Packaging version and Adobe PDF Print Engine

anyone know if the ApogeeX Packaging version is likely to incorporate the adobe pdf print engine?

I suspect i'll be looking at workflows for packaging agian soon, and currently i dont see, apart from maybe esko scope (i think) the packaging based workflows incorporating the pdf print engine.

any news?

There is no real 'packaging version' of ApogeeX 4.0 but you can extend the workflow with a number of packaging related options. That release ships with both the CPSI and the Adobe PDF Print Engine. You can switch between both but can't use them both at the same time. Typically customers use the PDF Print Engine for new jobs but they stick to the CPSI for reprints (for consistency reasons)
