This was taken out of service from a working environment due to quitting business. Complete with all documentation. Includes a Windows 2012 Server station running Fuji XMF Workflow and one Windows station running XMF Client for the Dart. Located in Rolla, Missouri. I will include the G&J processor - functional but needs repairs.  Local pickup only. $7000.00

Ended up following Tracy's lead  - lied to iQueue and made a page setup that was 9 x12.5, basically lying to it.  Was able to get within a 64th or closer.  Good enough for government work. Thanks, everyone ...

Yo, Scoot,

Did you ever find the help that you needed ?

Corn ...

The flap end has the bleed on it, running the flap trailing edge and up.

I agree totally with your summary, however.

Drastic times call for drastic measures, sometimes.

Tracy -

I did indeed 'lie" to it and made the page setup 9 x 12.5, rather than 12.

It may be 1 point or so from the edge, but that's close enough for government work.

Thanks !!

I have a large catalog envelope job that I need to run the image to the edge on the trailing end of the envelope.

I have three edge printing turned on in iQueue and in the main menu.

I can only get within 1/8 of an inch, any closer and it starts cutting off the image.  What am I missing ?

Thanks.

Mines an older version - we determined that fuse doesn't exist.  Later ones did.  My control panel is on the top surface of the large electrical box, and both are on the opposite side from the finisher pump.  :)

OK, let me start over.

We had an event last week.  Main breaker in the machine's cabinet was tripped. Had to reset to power up machine ...

Then the gum pump wouldn't work.

New gum pump installed - It's one of the spring-loaded types.

It's not running. Appears now to be a power issue.

Anyone been here ? Anyone know where fuse F13 is ?

CTP - CTF / Fujifilm FLH-Z (G&J) Gum Pump Issues

Hello.  The finisher pump on the processor won't run.  Have a new one coming, checked all fuses. However, I am getting 120 on two legs at the point where the pump plugs in, even with no plate traveling through the machine.  Seems like it would show nothing, and then voltage when the plate travels through.
Anyone been here before ? Thanx.

Something to do with running two different sheet sizes ?  I create separate jobs if the sheet sizes differ within that job ..

anybody seen this or have any suggestions?
If it doesn't work tomorrow, I will have to call Fuji, and my boss has not updated my license so it will be a pretty costly
phone call I think.

Your boss and mine must be cut from the same cloth .... :death:

Fujifilm XMF / Curve for uncoated stock...
February 21, 2017, 02:55:58 PM
Hello.
It's been a long time since I last visited B4Print....

We have a project right now that has extremely dark screens - 80 or 90% in some cases.

My boss thinks that we should have a workflow that runs a linear curve or something less than linear to compensate for this dark artwork.  This job is printed on 70# opaque offset.

Suggestions are appreciated ...  Thanks !!

Hello.

1) I am having repeated issues with staples punching through the center spine on digitally printed booklets.
Doesn't matter how much or how little clinch I apply, nor what the length of the staples are.

2) Sometimes the double sheet caliper wheel will split the center spine on the inside also.

These problems seem their worst on coated papers.  I think the drying action of the fuser on the copier, digital press, or whatever you want to call it, is making the paper brittle and it becomes that much weaker with folding.

Has anyone had any success getting around these issues ??

Thanx !!
