Clearing the cobwebs out of my brain, I remember that SCSI has length limitations. If i remember correctly, 25 feet is the max limit.

You can copy/paste the PW from the LP app or view the specifics of the site - User name, PW, URL, etc., or even launch the URL from LP using its internal browser. The idea of LastPass is that you never have to enter any PW manually, other than the main PW of course. When you use the app, the PW is encrypted from the phone and cannot be hacked even by man-in-the-middle (AFAIK). If you are just looking at the PW from the app, and then entering the PW manually you are bypassing the security of the app.
There is another phone browser with LP capabilities built in called Mercury Browser. I have limited experience with it and cannot comment on its functionality.
Another great thing about LP is the Secure Check. It analyses your PW's and even keeps up-to-date on whether you should change your PW on specific sites do to hacking.

I've been using LastPass for a few years. I'm happy with it. I have it on all my laptops and my iPhone.

Be sure to access it via the extension from FF or Chrome if on unsecured WiFi. Enable the logout when signed in so you only have one active session going at a time. Form fill is helpful, as is the password generator.

There are all kinds of diagnostic test pages stored that he could use. He may not have access to the diagnostic level and you may have to make him something.

I have a CanoScan and the interface sucks rocks. The scanner has these buttons on it that you are supposed to press for scans, POS.

Now the scanner is good and I use it through a Twain import.

After playing with it for a while, it is not as slick as it could be.

Holding down the Option key and selecting Go in the Menu bar, move down to Library. That's where I put it and it is working.

Link to download didn't work so I rebuilt it in Automator. Make sure you build it as a Service or you will need to Convert to a Service. I could send you my version via email if you PM me your email addy.

I also have it located in MacHD/Users/Stiv/Library/Services.

Looked cool - just made it functional in my own OS but haven't used it yet.

The drain is recommended for the cooler (air conditioner). We just used a bucket but then you have to remember to empty the bucket.
Oh, and you need to exhaust that bitch to the outside unless you want to raise the temp of the building by about 15 degrees.
And then there's the power supply, and the missing parts, and then the 6 months it will take to work the bugs out.
