Do any of you use a remote desktop for when you're working at home and need to connect to your office computer? I just got WFH Fridays  and I'm looking into a remote desktop that will connect my Mac at home to my PC at work that will allow me to share files. Thanks!

Have any of you had to deal with setting up emails for your companies? Our old owner had us using Icewarp, which just upgraded and it's complete shit. People are complaing to me like I fkg designed the software so I'm looking around. Not even really sure where to start. We obviously need the @ourdomain.com address and our websites are hosted by GoDaddy so I have them sending me info. Just wondering if any of you have recommendations.

Just wondering if anyone has any stickers with back printing resources they've used and recommend. We're thinking about selling advertising on the back of some promotional stickahs. I'm googleing the crap out of it but figured I ask around too.

Just upgraded to Creative Cloud yesterday, god help me. Single user license, don't work over a server and I'm getting an error message on a doc I made last week

> "This file is already open by another user or another application. This file may be stored on a network and cannot be opened until the other user closes it"

There is no other user, there is no other application and there is no network. Windows 10. Anyone have any idea what's going on? Thanks!

I'm buying an iMac refurb & I have CS4 and not upgrading. Ever. Fucking. Again. Does anyone know if it works on El Capitan? There's a decent 24" running Snow Leopard if I have to go that route. I've checked the Adobe boards, but I can't seem to find a definite answer.

Neural Photo Editing

So we have this place that does all our car wraps. The usual designer guy I deal with is gone, so we sent them a palette to use and asked for some designs made up. What they sent back was unacceptable. So I emailed them asking for a template for the car and told them that I would do it.  Cool, fun, right? I design the whole thing, send them all my files, including the .ai, fonts, pdfs etc. Everything I used in the files I sent over.
They then turned around, took my files and changed the color of the logo. They said they were using the palette I sent over. Is this not self explanatory? The palette was for THEM to design with, when I took over the job, my files were complete. Who would ever think to change the color of a logo, 1. without being told and 2. without asking.
My boss is insisting that I should have sent a color paper proof over. OK, maybe, it couldn't hurt, but seriously. WTF?

Why the f*****g f**k can't you download a file from an email and have it overwrite a previously saved version of the same file. I update sheets constantly and my reps have all these frikkin copies floating around. Instead of asking if you want to overwrite the current file it adds a number to the end of the dile name, ie file(2).pdf or file(3).pdf.
Is it a Windows 7 thing? Is there a setting I'm missing? It's ridiculous and aggravating.

Brick Heck had a podcast about fonts that "exhausts" him after three shows (show after show after show) but he feels bad for the loyal to the "fan". So funny and he really does know his fonts.
End of the show it turns out the "fan" is Jimmy Kimmel. And he's pissed they've used Avant Garde again on the cue cards instead of Century Gothic. Hilarious.

Does anyone know if it's possible to somehow extract pictures from an MS Word doc? I had a brochure sent to me with around 20 pics embedded. It looks like I'm going to have to cut and paste them all into PS and I'm not looking forward to it. I've never received this many pictures in an MSWord doc before. thanks!

Is anyone hosting a website with wordpress and if so do you have any idea if they have a plug-in that would let you host a photo competition? We're looking for someway for contestants to upload their own pics easily. Like you'd upload a profile picture. It sounds like it should be a no-brainer but we can't figure it out.

Windows 7 laptop attached to a network HP 1536dnf MFP. There are 5 other laptops that have no problems but there's one where the printer spooler keeps stopping. Constantly. Every day. I've deleted and reinstalled, I've checked for extraneous software. I can see it, I can ping itI have no clue what the problem is. Anyone have any ideas?

Does anyone know how to get rid of a gray shading behind the text in Word 2003 I've highlighted the text and >format>background>white fill with no luck. And that seems to be the fix on the Googe but I know that background is  for the whole doc. I'll try and figure it out but I thought I'd give it a shot here.
