Quote from: Aaron on January 11, 2013, 02:37:41 PMMe at the helm, digging into the root of a computer, now THAT'S dangerous!!

So... did that, went through the steps... and no luck...

Can I go home and get drunk now?

What were you trying to accomplish by doing that?

Trying to get the PDFs to open in Prinergy. Still just hangning.

It showed the primary and IP address already in the list. I just added the Insite server and IP in case it needed it.

I still think you have network issues. Try unmounting all network drives. Start Workshop. Open a job and try opening a PDF. This will allow Prinergy to try to mount the network drives itself. You will need to make sure you've saved the network shares password in your Mac keychain so Prinergy can mount them. You also need to be using an Administrator account when  mounting a network share like araxi and ARAXI. If it still doesn't work, try deleting (move them to a folder on your desktop in case you need to restore them later) all of the CREO and Prinergy related preferences from your Users/~/Library/Preferences folder.

So tried the unmounting and letting Prinergy mount the drives. No luck. When I add a password in the keychain, I add it as a password and the title is the name of the server and then user name and password araxi and ARAXI, right?

Pretty frustrating.

Noticed my right click doesn't work with my mouse too. Read this is a known problem with the mighty mouse and 10.7. Yay.

Yeah, stuff like this is frustrating as hell. I can tell you we have more than 10 iMacs running running OS X 10.7.5 and Prinergy 5.2.x (and Prinergy 5.1.x before that) and don't see any of the problems you are seeing so I'm pretty sure it isn't a Prinergy/OS X 10.7.x issue.

Have you tried dumping all of your Creo/Prinergy/Workshop preferences? If not I would try that. If you have tried that I would do it again and then re-install all of the Workshop Apps.

Also can you go to your Prinergy Primary server, launch Workshop and view the PDF's from it or do you see the same issues running workshop from the server?

Works fine on server.

Can't find preferences for Workshop...  :banghead: :banghead:

Can't reinstall workshop 5.2 on OSX 10.7 from what I hear. Only can do so with Prinergy 5.3 and above.

Man, it's only monday and I'm already ready to call it a week...

You can install Workshop 5.2 on OS X 10.7. I've done it numerous times. 5.3 is only released to Early Production so I can't tell you about it.

Workshop prefs are named Prinergy_Client.plist (I think). Close Workshop, move it to the desktop and relaunch Workshop.

Also it just this one Mac you are having issues with or all Macs?

This is the only MAC i've upgraded to 10.7. Others are still on 10.6.8 and working fine.

So you are not running 5.2? That could be the problem. Only 5.2 is (Kodak blessed) compatible with OS X 10.7.2 although we did run 5.1 for short while with OS X 10.7.x.

Oh. Shoot. Yeah I'm on 5.1 not 5.2. Sorry.

I'm thinking I'm going to reinstall 10.6 and ALL my apps :(

On the plus side it will be a clean install. Just like getting a new Mac. :sarcasm:
