Colorpath needs Silverlight. It is easier to make it run in Safari than Firefox or Chrome. Just configure Safari to enable Java and internet plug-ins, in this case Silverlight to "always allow".

When you restore an archive file, before releasing the workflow items for re-processing, make sure that this check box is checked.
'Hold before output' found under the device settings. Yes, this is checked. We even replaced the entire tab on retrieved jobs and they still randomly autoplate.

I got stung yesterday by a bad combo of Creep Adjustment, along with a front cover needing to be changed from W&T to Sheet (roller marks on press). It should have ONLY asked me to re-render the first section, but it signalled a re-render of the lot, Shoulda smelled a rat there and then, but nup... It changed the creep adjustment cos I'd not checked "Use Default Creep' on the newly jigged cover section. We were only part way through plating the text...oh, and a plate fail/replate required in the middle of it.
Was like unravelling a cryptic puzzle.
I *think* it'll bind OK, (made a full mock up from printed sheets), but wont be happy until it's bound and nobody walks in with *that* look on their face. :undecided:

This is not even close to your situation as I am on a Mac but I do have Acrobat DC on this Mac but my version of Preps is version 7. I created a new job and added a set of pages created in InDesign CS5 and printed an imposed PDF and I didn't get the error you are getting.
When are you getting the error? When it starts to print and fails or does it print the PDF and you get the error when you try to open it in Acrobat? Or where exactly?
=3= rawr! my boss should really consider upgrading to a higher version! The error happens when it starts to print ...
No, you just need to downgrade to PDF/X-1a.

Disagree unless you have a RIP that doesn't do transparency. Otherwise you are just destroying a perfectly good PDF.
