Already Image Traced the rest of the logo, but the reverse type at the type is caca-doody. I should know this one from the goofy looking footers on it, but drawing a blank.
A little diddie 'bout black 'n cyan...two reflective colors doin' the best they can.

None of them have that weird "rounded" foot. Grrrrr, what IS that??

Reminds me of Arrus BT, but the "C" does not match Arrus BT.

The "C" makes me think of a Transitional Serif, like Baskerville, New Baskerville, Mrs. Eaves or even some versions of Caslon.

Looks like some flavor of Century or Century Schoolbook.

I wouldn't have thought to try that one myself...

I'm not sure if Plantagenet Cherokee is a default system font on Windows systems, but it's been a default/included/pre-installed system font in Mac OS X for some time now.

Normally I avoid fonts like that like the plague, but beginning-level (and not always beginning-level) duhsigners like to use 'em.

Really? I can't find it any other place on my HD i either 10.6.8 or 10.7 as a System Font. Had to grab a freebie version.

I actually can't claim credit. I was trying to figure it out when the Marketing Director walked by. I stopped him and asked if he knew, and off the top of his head named the font!
He's left handed and all that kinda thing. :cheesy:

I've sent the PNG to the ancient (like me) typesetter turned digital layout guy at head office. he may still reExport required Spot colours into Process, from Indy, after many years (as he did this morning), but he may be able to ID the font.

Plantagenet Cherokee?

TypeMan wonders whether it's had a stroke put on it, or fiddled in some way.    :undecided:

And what the Plantagenet Kings had to do with the Cherokee people... lost on that one.

Yeah, I ended up giving it a minor stroke to bring the weight up a tad too.
