Quote from: Tracy on September 10, 2024, 09:47:45 AMI'm always behindIn a prepress environment you should always be one or two versions behind Apple's current version.
Quote from: Tracy on September 09, 2024, 12:08:04 PMOk I'm getting ready!macOS Sequoia is being released a week from today. You will already be behind before you get Sonoma installed.

Quote from: Tracy on September 05, 2024, 09:31:58 AMI think the space setting was from my NAS? that's where my Time Machine currently is, It's a share on my NASOh yeah...forgot you were using a NAS so that would be a NAS setting.
I bought a Toshiba external USB to change, but of course I'm putting it off, just like my OS update.
Good Info here about finding the files!!!
Quote from: Tracy on September 04, 2024, 09:21:17 AMI had to figure out how to get a file, but it worked.Fun fact...you don't have to go through Time Machine to restore files where it says "Browse Time Machine Backups".
Quote from: Tracy on September 04, 2024, 09:21:17 AMI lost a file of a perfect bound cover I did a lot of color changes to.Time Machine should be backing up several times a day unless you don't have the backup disk connected and turned on at your Mac. After the initial full backup it only backs up new or changed files after that. It won't start deleting older backups unless the backup disk runs out of space.
I was freaking out and I found it with Time Machine! Feels like a good day!
I had to figure out how to get a file, but it worked.
It looks like my Time Machine is only backing up for a month so I lucked out.
I have to be more careful! I don't leave things on the desktop and I have a backup.
I think I threw away the file thinking I already put it on the server.
