Nope, still on Acrobat 9 here. Mostly they have just moved buttons like the CMYK, Grayscale, RGB on the inspector into a flyout menu so it now takes two clicks to do what you used to be able to do with one. If you are coming from version 7 and are looking for the PDF cropping function it is now the Design Layout Panel. It is awesome but it takes some time to wrap your head around it. I'm sure there are other things I've forgot about already that have moved. You'll find out soon enough.

As Joe said, put some time into 'familiarisation' in Design layout Panel' the cryptically-named 'prepress-panel-with-grunt'. I feel like an idiot, but there were hidden things there, right under my nose, for too long.
A couple of things. You can move/adjust page boxes really easily, but it's a bit counter-intuitive. In DLP window, make sure you choose the 'Prepress Layout' dropdown. A whole new window opens. Fiddle with all those buttons and options until you get familiar with them. You can set new (custom), Trim size, set bleed, Media box etc etc...
For individually adjusting box sides, (any box), you need to have the (can't remember the name~I'm at home), button with the noughts-and-crosses-grid-with-a-pencil Tool. When you hover (you have to hover over), a box side, it activates to a 4-way 'move' icon. Drag your box side to where it's needed. So easy. I rabbit on here only because it eluded me for some time....   :embarrassed:
Go back to EAL/GC, run 'Add Trim Marks'... done. My preferred route for Quark PDFs.

....um, I think that tool may be called the 'Page Box Tool'

Someday I'll actually get Pitstop so I can read this thread with purpose.

Are you saying one has to have Pitstop to get an Obamacorn? No wonder I was blacklisted...

The Enfocacorn has a much wider colour gamut. Yes, confirmed. You are still missing out.

Yes, it optimizes PDF's for displaying on an iPad but supposedly it speeds up the display of a PDF all around. Like those your customer has that has eleventy billion points in a vector image and 68,417 paths and 112,463 images in it.

I have installed it. Really haven't seen much difference but I didn't break out the stopwatch.

dunno how anyone could work without pitstop. but then again I don't know anyone can live without cigarettes but the majority do it.

Because my shop seldom gets outside files. Most of the PDFs we get are so bad they're not even worth fixing.
