The CS6 InDesign jobs are starting to roll in.

Need to decide a few things about Cloud vs buy.

I need to prove/disprove a rumor that INDD CS6 uninstalls all previous versions of INDD.

Can any shed some light my way?

just got confirmation, you can have all the CS products active.
There are some cases where CS6 has removed some CS5 pref panes, but that is not the norm, and the app (CS5) still runs.

I haven't heard anything about the cloud. CS5 is not cloud based so I can't imagine how it would be removed with the CS6 install.
I know some PC users have had registry issues, but I'm not sure of the full extent of the issues they've had.

I will do some further checking.

Found this:

QuoteYou do not need to uninstall previous versions of Creative Suite; some users prefer to keep the older, familiar version(s) around as they come up to speed with the new product's features, and some folks have CS3, CS4, CS5, and CS6 all on one computer.

I went from CS2 to 6 with the subscription and all my CS2 stuff is still there.

Was told that when you are subscrption, they send update notice to say 6.5, you download and install and 6.0 is no good anymore.
Will show as invalid.

Wow, adobe really hates prepress if that's true.
Speed doesn't kill, rapidly becoming stationary is the problem

I'd rather have stories told than be telling stories of what I could have done.

they actually never did like prepress, if they did, we would still be on PM4, and we would have more money in the bank.

Thanks Adobe, I fear a world of pain about to start for us! :kissass:

I think the basic problem is too many people from Adobe saying too many things.

The questions in the FAQ are poorly written so when you get a chance to have interaction with these guys and ask they fire off stuff like I posted.
Then another says , well, if you just get disks the way you did before it isnt a isuue, blah , blah,  blah :death:
