Never seen one like this before. Can't select anything in pitstop or import it into Indesign as is. No security, but when saving as .ps and redistilling it's ok.

(lets see if it can be attached into this message. Went to Imageshack and couldn't get in. Think they are charging monthly fee now.)

funny... I couldn't select anything either- at first, but after I did select all then I was able to go back and select individual elements. Strange indeed.

I was able to select individual items and get it into InDesign, which failed at first. I noticed the PDF producer was GPL GhostScript, which I am not familiar with... yet. I did nothing to get it into InDesign at first just trying different options through InDesign, but nada. It was only after I fixed all the jacked up page boxes, trim, bleed, etc... that it finally imported. So, it was the page boxes.

Everything seems to work ok on my end. I'm able to edit with some lag at first and place.

I was able to select elements with PitStop, I only have an older version of pitstop (acrobat 6 with pitstop 7.1) as I inherited this mac from the Nexpress department. Nice job with the black "trim box" or wtf. I love when people put that stuff on there, crop marks are sooo yesterday.

GPL Ghostscript is a free alternate .ps & .pdf interpreter. I played with it years ago but can't understand why someone with Indesign would need it or use it to make a pdf.

Ghostscript does some weird things.

I can select anything in Acro 9 with Pitstop, but it looks like most of the letters are missing parts of the paths (open paths)

ghosty can be used if someone doesnt have a postscript device in the network - i used it to create pdf's at home a while back as i couldnt save .ps files (no drivers etc) so used ghosty for it

it was ok for what little i did

I'll be interested to try this in PSP9, pspdf. Wondering if Design Layout Panel might fix those page boxes with a few mouse clicks.   :undecided:
But then David's pointed to bigger problems.

Acrobat 9 with Pitstop 7.52. Everything is selectable and I placed it into ID (CS3) with no problems. I feel left out.
