Is there a method in PitStop Pro to:

duplicate all of the pages in a PDF
and then
put them after THEMSELVES
so
the document would print with the same page on BACK of itself?

so:

1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9

becomes

1-1-2-2-3-3-4-4-5-5-6-6-7-7-8-8-9-9

Well
I installed 11 - 10 is still in place with PitStop still active.

It looks like I would un-install and then re-install into 11.

I might wait a while till I find out for sure
and
I have the time to be wrong
so I can get back.

I can already think of a handful of customers that set artwork to Registration(all) color on every file they submit.
So ..
I doubt that will be something I would use
but I will give it a try.

I had another one today, as well.
I will find it and post it.

Like I mentioned ...
I don't have a problem doing this on a few pages and "watching out."
But, what about a 200 page catalog file?

I like the idea of this action
because the Adobe apps have the printers marx so darn close to the work by default
and the general artist does not think about them.
I place all my marx at .25 away from the work with .125 bleed (at least)
so ... I do not have to think about it.
Also, I do not use all the color bars and register marx
it all is just a mess.

My action takes away art and seems like it would be really dangerous on a large multi paged document where one could not watch all that is happening.

Look on the Adobe Community sights.
I had one script a while back, that I have not loaded on my new machine,
that re-orders your list in  Alphabetical order.
Just one double click on the script.
I will look today, as well.

I received a file today.
Printed sample and informed sales about missing fonts.
InDy - simply enough to Package a job.
Of course the client did not sent the fonts
(10 min)

 - So "they (sales)" told me to sub the fonts.
(10 min)

Inform sales - again -
sales bitching - this is EXACTLY what i was wanting to avoid
(informing the client that their file was all fu**ed up).

I went through all of the clients previous files in the archives.
So ... then .... same client fonts loaded.
(15min)
New proof showed same thing
overset type - type missing - text wrap ruined.

Contact client - new file.
-
New file - with "their document fonts"
same INCORRECT output.
download - load  - print
15 min

Informed sales
they bitchingly state they will have the client send in a PDF.
I say - I can send them our print PDF export settings.
"I'll just have them export to PDFX-1"
(what a moron)

PDF from client comes in.
Open and print out for sales
(10 min)
SAME PROBLEMS show in THEIR PDF.
(overset text - missing text).

Inform Sales
they contact client
" Well I am a newcomer with InDesign
sorry"

Client goes over all the problems pointed out to her in her file.

New file uploaded.
Process file - everything fixed on her end (almost) - all OK
(5 min)

This is a major company in our city - I don't get it.
The designer is going to all these parties receiving cudos for her great work on this printing piece.

Well deserved!.

I finally repaired it yesterday.
Even though I  turned of our other AFTP server software
I neglected to go in and turn disable the services.
The old software was taking the upper hand and Filezilla could not connect.

Do you folks host your own FTP site on an in-house server?
What application do you use?
Do you have a link on your company web site to hit the ftp server?
I am trying Filezilla and having seemingly unsurmountable trouble trying to hit it from anywhere.
I tried MassTransit. The express worked OK but it is the free extremely limited version.
The full version is $7000 and I do not think we are enterprise enough to justify that.
