Looks like we have issues with our Firewall (Netgear FVS336G) where it keeps losing internet connectivity. Any recommendations on affordable and secure devices? I'm kind of wanting to steer clear of Netgear these days.

Untangle UTM. I can hook you up with a server for it. Fantastic device.

So with them you can either buy one of their devices with NG Firewall pre-installed or use your own server? Hmm....that might be overkill for our use.

Buy your own box or buy theirs, either way. I buy my own. Seems like overkill until you see what you can do. It's a great system. Manage in and outbound traffic like a good firewall does.
