Ditto.

David, THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU.  I ran a test and it printed and cut perfectly.

So explain to me what you did to make it that way?  I don't see the Pathfinder > Minus Front (I only see Minus Back) and it doesn't help me.

I'm so stoked to have this file ready to get on the plotter now.  Excellent, excellent news all around.

Here is a screen cap of the pathfinder toolbox. What I have circled in Red is the "Minus Front"

I've been using Illy since 2001 and I still don't fully understand all the options in the Pathfinder palette. Usually I just click each one until I get the desired effect.

So,  :drunk3: i send the job to the rip with live transparecy (v 1.7 or whatever) and it craps out with a memory error.

It's probably good you didn't go into the bomb defusal business.

Agreed. I can also get impatient. I just push buttons or pull wires until something happens.  :embarrassed:

You would only do it once in the bomb defusal business.

I actually taught myself.
After using Esko for years (it's Illy on steroids, big time). Learned how to punch out shapes, compound paths and stuff, then found out you can do just about all of that in Illy now, with very little effort.
I use it all the time now for any die files or templates.
