Turning off or permanently deleting sheet marks in Preferences in Preps 8

Color bar placement is crucial. When creating a template I usually turn off "sheet marks" in preferences in Preps but when I bring my template into the job it has the center marks top and bottom. I have to then open the job through workshop to delete them. It does me no good to delete them on a template if they just show up again. Thanks!

Have you tried deleting them from a template and then saving the template? I don't think they should appear after that.
