What's with the activity monitors showing up?

It's like "I'll show you mine if you show me yours".

pspdfppdfxhd

Hey, new topic maybe? Like: "Show us your pets" "show us your activity monitor."

NOTE: I do not have Leisure Suit Larry open.

Possum

But you do have a squirrel.
Tall tree, short ropes, fix stupid.

pspdfppdfxhd

Strange...never noticed the easy find logo was a squirrel. Who's that squirrel person around here?

Farabomb

That would be Gnub.

Oh yes, the name rings a bell.

If i win the lottery I would buy one of those Imacs for the house.

I'm sure it would be fun to take one for a test drive too.

Solution, get more RAM. I have a lot of stuff running and no problems.

I got the solid state Flash drive and it really speeds things up. Allows better virtual memory too. I will never buy a spinny hard drive again.

Oooooh, Sierra client, thats nice...

Ear

Yeah, and hogging a little more RAM than I thought it would. It's a network piggy too. The EFI even more so.

That screenshot is about 1/3 of the current processes and I had about 2/3 of my workload going, no slowdowns or lags. I give more than half the credit to the solid state drive.

SSD's are great but even they can't help a slow computer. I have a netbook with an Intel Atom processor and even with a SSD it's dog slow, to the point it can't even stream netflix. Works with youtube but netflix plays for a second, then buffers, plays another second...

Looks like I'm cobbling together a PC just to be able to watch TV upstairs.  :(

You can never have too much RAM... except in the case when you max out the ports with the highest amount. And I love SSDs, but I don't have any money to upgrade my computer right now. https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-2-5-Inch-Internal-MZ-75E2T0B-AM/dp/B010QD6W9I/ref=sr_1_1?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1497288722&sr=1-1&refinements=p_n_feature_three_browse-bin%3A6797522011

The other side can point out their inaccuracies, but the voter's mind privileges the memory of the original accusation, which was juicier than any counterargument ever could be.)"

I would buy the 4 TB model for only $1399.00 but the bastards want $7.23 shipping. Screw that! :rotf:
