I just Googled this topic and guess what one of the first hits was! This site. Google's URL was out of date so I had to search within the forum.

BTW, in Acrobat 9 this option is in Preferences > Documents. I just set mine to "Never".

Google should be getting the URL's re-indexed. I changed the way the forum writes URL's about a week and a half ago. Might take a while for google to catch up.
