We generally use a 6 color color bar for our jobs....however, we have a pressman, that is not happy with them. Is there a way to remap the colors in XMF to say you want Pantone 186 to use the magenta position? Without remapping the entire color to be magenta. There has to be a way, just figured I would check here first.
Fuji XMF V5, Mac OS Sierra , Adobe CC, QuarkXpress 2017,  Epson SureColor P9000, Epson Surecolor P6000, Dart 4600S, Komori Lithrone 628, Komori SPICA 429, Heidelberg KORD, Xerox 1000, Xerox 1000i, Xante Impressia.

I think you would have to create another color bar to use the magenta spot as a spot color
If you look at  your existing spot color in your 6 color bar check out how the spot is named
It might be FUJI:Spot1 FUJI:Spot2  you can create a FUJI:Spot3 for the magentas
or however your colors are named.

you can also create color bars that are just black and spot colors

Sometimes the press manufacturer can supply you with color bars that cover most scenarios. We use Heidelberg's supplied color bars and just re-map the colours - except if we are doing a job that needs a GMI approval - then we use their preferred color bars.
