Have a customer asking about using these on some signage. Does anyone have any experience creating these?  Any info on these is appreciated.

InDesign can generate QR codes. Object>Generate QR Code... and then you just paste in the info you want in the code. It's pretty easy. Alternatively, there are a ton of online QR code generators that are free.

Can you define what you mean by "dynamic"?

I use QR code Tiger but only for static codes. You can make dynamic codes but I don't believe it's free.

DCurry, I did NOT know you can make those in Indesign. Thank you!

Still not sure what makes it "dynamic" - the fact that it's trackable?

Dynamic QR codes have a short URL embedded in the code, which can redirect the user to the destination website URL. The destination URL can be changed after the QR code has been generated, while the short URL embedded in the code remains the same.

What is the difference between Static and Dynamic QR codes?

I didn't know it until about a year ago, even though it's been there for years. The oldest version I have is 2019 and it has it.

I also can generate variable QRs with SmartStream Designer or FusionPro, but I'm sure any variable data solution can do it, too.
