I have a ArtPro file, 4 spots and CMYK.Need to export a  CMYK PDF from ArtPro or Nexus. (no postscript please)Any ideas.

I have an old EMAC 17".
My IT guy wiped it clean as I am giving it to a friend(who doesn't know how to operate a computer yet)
So my IT guy is having trouble putting on an OS.
I CAN'T find the original discs that came with it.

Anyone know of a  plug in for CS2 which will put centers/register marks on a object........

meaning if I have a die and want to generate centers/register marks I would select the die only and..........BAM....there's my marks.

Using Illy CS3.  ArtPro 8.6rev7.

When using Fullpress FPO with OPI,my custom spot colors do not import correctly. No preview color, all zeros.
If I have vector only objects,it imports fine.
As soon as I add a image from the FPO volume,the custom spot color doesn't import with a preview color.

How would you describe to someone the difference between learning an application vs learning a rip?

such as

Adobe :
Illustrator CS2
Acrobat
Photoshop

and or learning how to set up and use a rip such as

Nexus or ESKO Backstage?

Ok pitstop gurus,
We have a profile we run on some dies,we use as master dies.
The profile checks for certain things ...ok....
one of the things is make sure there are no more than 2 colors in the file (Die and Crop are the 2 spot colors in these files)

Yet when I use registration color to color my center marks(registration marks) it fails.

How do I add registration into my profile ?

ps.    I don't work with PitStop myself,Im helping a co-worker.
