Adding an extension has worked for some but not for all. I'm guessing that the ones that don't work are just done for? The ones she was asking for in particular this morning were font files...

Yup - old server dead.

I'll double check w/my supervisor, but the problem may be that the old server is dead. So... If that is the case... Is there a way to save these files?

A while back we got a new server. When the files were transferred over, some of them seem to have become corrupt and read as "unix executable files". Some are able to be "saved" by adding an extension but some are not. My supervisor is asking if anyone knows of a way to fix this... Many thanks in advance. I get to learn our web person InDesign because it's compatible w/some new stuff she has to use. Up til now - since she is being FORCED to use it - she has avoided learning it. :rolleyes:
