Anyone remember "PAN" film when you needed a green safelight?

born2print

YES! But we didn't have the green light so when we used pan film we had to work in complete darkness.
Kinda like prepress now  :cheesy:

I like your avatar DPSprint.
I was gifted 2 sixers of stout and porter and a bottle of cab yesterday by a sales rep (he said from client but I wonder if it was from him but he knows I don't like taking personal gifts from reps. Bring a snack for the whole crew if you want to be cool)
anyway, the bottle of wine tried to open itself in the boot of my car! Must have gotten too hot!
I am so glad it didn't, that is the worst mess next to a sick dog maybe. Plus, it was a very nice cab (once I got it back to room temp in the fridge) I looked it up and it's like $20 retail. I usually don't spend that much

Same here. I had a guy I was training open a box of pan film with the fluorescent lights on. He quickly slammed it shut and said "Do you think that was open long enough to expose the film?" I said "no I'm sure you are faster than the speed of light. I think it will be ok".

I'll try the version we have tomorrow, fucking job's already come back twice with cx, so even with me slamming the Quark PDFs into InDesign to get it the DI, I'm sure I'll have to open it again.

Can't they any better than that cheezy effect. Looks like an animation from an old atari video game. Why not just put pac-man in there.

Sorry, it's half day friday and I'm getting thirsty.

Yup, he's the one hitting the keys.

That's a shame. Can't they up the ante with their Easter Eggs? Maybe more people would buy it.

Possum

I still miss the ones from Illustrator 5. In the bottom left corner, you could get these little eyeballs that followed the cursor movement and blinked every once in a while.
Tall tree, short ropes, fix stupid.

Remember from Mac 0S7 I think, when you could get Oscar the Grouch to sing, "I love trash," every time you threw something away?
