I'm officially done with it. Sick of the rapid updates, crashing, freezing, etc...I can now use Google bookmarks, Web Developer, Firebug, etc...with Chrome which is now MY official browser of choice.

Netscape is my browser of choice.

Still a Camino fan here, but Chrome is sounding good, our work emails are Gmail now too, and it's fabulous/

...and the Goog continues to take over.

I stopped caring about FF a while back. When I see someone wearing an ironic Firefox tshirt I want to punch them. I stopped doing the updates also because their frequency alarms me.

Camino is the ONLY web browser on the market today that works with everything in Kodak's Prepress Portal. They refuse to list it as an "approved" web browser though.

My only concern is to have my bookmarks synced no matter where I'm at. And I don't care if Google looks at them or not.

I still like Safari. I never had a problem with it.

Safari is OK but I can't sync my Google bookmarks to it. I can only access them by opening a browser page to them and that sucks. And there is something else I don't like about Safari but for the life of me I can't remember what it was. If I surfed with it for awhile though it would come back to me.

On Mac I use Safari for most things... but I have FF as a backup. On Windows our storefront only responds well with IE, but I prefer Google Chrome. Much faster and more stable, plus it does a lot of stuff IE doesn't, and doesn't complain. I'd use Chrome on my Mac if I had an Intel Mac and could actually upgrade to Snow Leopard.

I downloaded Chrome but can't get some pages or even the preference page to display any readable text. Some issue with helvetica I'm guessing as I can fix it temporally but once I quit the fix is gone. BTW Safari is now running as 64 bit so if some pages don't load get info on safari and change it to load 32 bit so the offending pages will work.

I can - it has web dev issues. Whenever I build a site for someone who only uses Safari I end up having to code in some CSS hacks to make it work.

All browsers suck.

Yes, Safari and MS IE are the worst offenders in that arena. And MS has improved IE 9 in that area so Apple stands alone as the biggest offender at the moment.

Oh, the other thing I don't like about Safari is their pop up blocker. You can't add exceptions to the list. It either blocks popups from all sites on the planet or none of them. No in-between. For example, I do not run pop up ads here at b4print but I want the PM notification popup to work here. In Chrome or FF I can add b4print.com to the popup exception list. Can't do it in Safari as far as I know.

As a PPC user, I tried Ten Four Fox, supposed to enable Power PCs to run the newer Firefox versions. It worked OK, but sometimes the inventor's website can't be found. Makes you wonder.
