RBA — Request Insite Approval

Anyone know if you can request approval using an RBA? I am not seeing an action for it, but I am a little slow

doesn't it send an email requesting file approval to the customer?
It's been a while for me but I think ours always did.

That sounds right David, although hard to say for sure because no one uses it they way it's intended and capable...
but I'm ok with that. Touches vs automation keeps me busy.

You have to go into Insite and request approval for them to get the email. With RBA you can have an event trigger something. Like once the pageset is full you could have it trigger an event to request approval. Unfortunately there is no Insite event to do that.

Thanks guys, just wanted to make sure. I have jobs coming in that use a prejob to create the jobs and web enable it. They would like it to request approval also but someone will have to work instead lol

Since it automated you can set Insite status to request approval once they are uploaded/refined by default. Just tell your customer when they upload and see they are processed to go ahead and view/approve. That is what we do for most of our customers.

I would but it is us who are creating the art. It was a type of web to print workflow but they decided to make it a web to, wait, let's proof it, to print workflow I got everything to work, putting it into the correct group and adding some random job alias info. But of course the csr doesnt want to keep they're job i guess and asked me to go ahead and request the approval too.

I would be more than happy to have that particular csr run out of work to do

You can request approval. We have it part of a process template

Yes, as long as the InSite user has the notification turned on in their email preferences.
