Remove Paper Shine from Scan

back in the day when we used a camera for our film, a piece of glass held the art
I know your fighting glare but maybe someone knows something

I take photos instead of scanning (scanner broke).
I mount them on the wall so I don't get the glare or shadows from leaning over them. Makes it easier to "square" them up as well.

but, it's "you gotta do what you gotta do" to make it work.
