I've had a look at the preflighting - the idea of tailoring it for my situation would appeal - happy to take on board anything you have to offer

Well I would say as a start run the new standard Smart Preflight Profile thats included in the installer, you will need to make sure the matching variable set is loaded as well.

This is designed as an intro sample as it contains all the functionality, and includes and action list as well, I would draw your attention to the ink coverage value, this is rule based as is taken from the paper type and the printing method.

when you run the profile you will see what I mean, they I would suggest you take a look at the variable set and see the values that are driving the preflight and how they are implemented.

Then you should be off and running and can make your own checks and actions 'smart'
