Off-Topic, but about 15+ years ago I had an IBM golf-ball typewriter, handed down from FIL's office. Got sick of looking at it in the storage cupboard. Damn I wish I'd kept it. Weighed about 15 Kg., from memory. Beautiful thing.

Wonder if they'll buy my 1947 Smith Corona. They have to get their stock somewhere.

I have a 1970s edition Smith Corona electric. My Dad used it until the day he died. It's in great shape, and I even have the travel case.

(This is why political attack ads don't have to be true to be effective. The other side can point out their inaccuracies, but the voter's mind privileges the memory of the original accusation, which was juicier than any counterargument ever could be.)"

One owner and one secretary in the front office both still have a typewriter and use it daily even though one has a 21.5" iMac and the other has a Windows 7 PC right next to it and both have access to multiple laser printers.

What prevented the edges of the paste-ups from being visible on the finished page, lack of definition?
Opaque and litho tape.
