Does anybody know how good or bad the FWA actually helps on the calibration and color consistency (Xerox XC1000i)?!
Also, I heard that you have to calibrate every media, EVERYDAY, before running it on the Ricoh C9110, is it true?!
Does this calibration media procedure applies to other digital presses as well?

The company I work for is planning to get a new digital press (because we have a Nexpress already) and we are really undecided in which way to go next. As far as cost, everything seems to be very similar.
Now, I would like to hear from other users, what digital press seems to best fit to our needs, as follow: reliable (above all), good color capability (being able to hold calibration for long runs VERY IMPORTANT, color accuracy is a must), handle stocks from 60lbs all the way up to 14pt, good registration front/back, good printing quality for solids and gradients as well, etc.
For now, from all proposal we got so far, we are undecided between an Xerox XC1000i or a RicohC9110, any other suggest?

Here we have 12 Macs using Prinergy, but i would say "softly". Sometimes two big files refining at the same time and imposition also working connected to it, but i would consider it the "peak time".
How do you have your tertiary settings as far as your " MaxMpxCt value" and "denial of service attack detection"?!

We've told by kodak this behaviour has been reported before from other clients. "Prinergy has more than usual connections to tertiary servers, as there are lots of JTPs processing the job volume and that can be detected as DoS".
If anybody else has experience the same issue and knows how to fix it, please, let me know (not disabling the dos or increasing the value of maxmpxct).

Just "hanging around"

Hi guys,

Im new with Prinergy and facing issues as far as administrating the system. Lately we are getting a lot of this "The server has detected an attempted Denial-Of-Service attack from client \\computer_name, and has disconnected the connection."
We Increased the MaxMpCt value but it is still happening. We dont want to disable denial of service attack detection.
The servers are Windows based.
Any idea how to solve this "misbehavior" from Prinergy?!
