TFFT!
Our LP68 has not misbehaved for a week now so maybe the problem just 'went away'...

I knew if I ignored it it would disappear  :lmao:

Oh good nothing trivial then  :sarcasm:

Maybe the Azura is the route we'll take...the monthly cleandown is not as therapeutic as AGFA's sales rep made out.

You don't know how close I came to that :D

I had to settle for headbutting the microswitch defeat prongs under the open cover. The blood loss was impressive :D

Came in first thing this morning, turned unit on and spray bar came on 10 mins later it shut itself off.

So I guess God loves me today!

Thanks for your assist anyway.

For those running AndroDiags, hovering the cursor over the relevant active motor also shows the circuit board and switch related to it. V useful.

More important is the font's age... 1988! Fonts of this age are usually responsible for failure to RIP/Render.

It also looks like this has been renamed and added to the font suitcase (Font Mover used to do this I believe as did Markzware Preflight) it can be a PIA as you've found out.

It was a favourite lazy b•stard desinger trick back in the days when they would supply all fonts in one suitcase...grrrr!

Hi Frailer...can't really give any more detail other than AndroDiags doesn't show the motor as running!!

I've tried switching on and off - I can hear the solenoid dropping out when I turn the unit off but as soon as I turn the main switch..bingo, thar she blows!

The sensors that detect the plate going through aren't showing as active either...a real head scratcher.

Our LP68 central rinse unit motor just will not stop running...even when Inactive.

I have to stop it at the main switch. As soon as I turn the unit on the motor that circulates the water to the spray bar in the centre rinse unit comes on.

Luckily it still processes plates, all the heaters and sensors seem OK. I just did a complete drain and clean down and it's no different.

Any ideas guys?

The Rest... / Re: Any Dropbox users?

Used it once, I'm not a fan.

I'd rather use web upload sites like mailbigfile.com or yousendit.com - no software to load and it's free!

Quote from: ratintrap on December 14, 2010, 05:47:58 AMI just figured out how to convert a group of PDFs to EPSs in a batch. :woohoo: :sarcasm:

I've been trying to do the opposite with batches of vector EPS's on CD. Acrobat can't do it because the files don't have extensions and doing it with an Illy batch action is painfully slow and takes over the whole Mac so I think I've given up.

Bridge has a batch rename tool - try that.
