Correct, thats what i was asking about and right again that G7 is probably just another way to skin the cat :-\  ,testing was not the full process, was just on midtones tvi/dotgain where was easy to see any changes

Thanks guys ;) ,calibrated the press, ISO v2  profile ,and for npdc curves just the G7 midtones  on dot gain/tvi tab,no obvious differnce.
Any thoughts? :cane:

Starting with solid densitis for example, with ink sequence YCMK so yellow first on paper, manufacturer Xeikon say on coated paper 1.3 Y   1.4C   1.4M  and 1.8 BK,but lab value translated from G7 charts Come up with 1.1 Y   1.40C  1.50M  1.7 K  and so on... :deadhorse:

Anyway.i was hoping for some lab value data sheets of some of the tests available and some walk trough from someone who did this before, like i said ,just testing right now,so not willing to invest something yet,im in Europe so G7 is not first think people ask for here

Hi,i want to make some testing with G7 curves on Xeikon press, similar Indigo btw,i did look around on web for different info but i didnt found stuff to put toghether,G7 grey curves wold be a good start, can anyone provide some guidance/infos? thanks.

That sounds great, only one thing,im kinda  Prinergy newby :drunk3: ,any chance for a short walk trough and explain how works?

Hey guys, anyone implemented any colour conversion software that should save on ink? If so what are the results so far?
Im talking about software  recognising greyscale and converting it to black instead of using cmy  :)

Thanks alot guys but i think i didnt explain clear,ok,i could be tottaly wrong but ill say what infos i have.
Hp indigo use toners and they add some oil to make it liquid claiming this way they can use smaller particle dust, they call it 'elecroink' or something,Xeikon use same toners in powder form. Now,becouse of totally different pigments then other 'inks' i assume that there are no iso standards for toner printing presses,or i couldnt find anything on web.Ofc you can fallow fogra/gracol depending on region you are but gamut for toner is different imao,So question is,are there any known ISO standards for this type of presses that use toners?.Or just going with Fogra/Gracol your automatic printing correct.Keep in mind that all those was made for different machines with different type of ink.I try to be more clear this time around :) .Ofc there is a posibility i just chase my tail here,if thats so then let me know   ,Thanks

:hello:  Hello everyone,is there any ISO standards for digital press using toners like Indigo or Xeikon? If not what standards you guys use to calibrate them for color reproduction?Anything is better then nothing. Thanks in advance .. ;)

Still no change to pantone (white) under the image, only vectors are affected,i have play with the neutral density and got some interesesting results on the image but no succes on just chocking the pantone under it

Sorry for late reply,i was on holidays,i test it and work exactly how i wanted,Thank You
One more thing, seems that if i have vectors and pixels {picture} in same file it works only on vectors and don't choke the white under the pictures

General Prepress / White choke in prinergy
December 19, 2017, 10:01:56 AM
Hi :hello: ,everyone,im new to prinergy and i try to find out what is the neutral density that will make a spot color to always be choked.
To be more exact i use a pantone [100 C] that is printed as white spot colour on press and i want to always white to be choked under any colour combination and density.
