Title: Anyone running XMF on Mac
Post by: Diddler on February 06, 2013, 07:16:56 PM
My Windows server is on its last legs and needs to be replaced soon. I was just wondering if anyone is running XMF Server on a Mac with a Windows OS partition or separate drive? I cant find any info if it is possible, but I also cant find any info to say it not possible.

You can but drivers, either through bootcamp or if you want to do it virtually like with Virtualbox - Parallels - VM Ware, might be hard to come by for everything you need with running a workflow. I'm not saying it is impossible. Good luck if you attempt it.

Would be well out of my comfort zone. Have you got a spare Mac you want to use to do it? Servers are pretty cheap these days, relative to a few years ago. Maybe email Wayne... that would freak him.
But I would think the server app would be ideally Windows-native.   :undecided:

There's always Grays Online, or fleabay.... low kms.
