Same for my 902 C...no CMYK values. Pantone need to come out with a device which punches designers in the face with a giant boxing glove if they pick a Pantone color from a library other than the Solid Coated and Uncoated libraries for print files.

looks like that would be a tough one to match CMYK!
I battled a color recently-there was no way to match it to go digital
Told "them" that the last time they wanted to go digital-same file [sigh]

Most folks just don't understand how small the CMYK gamut is.
RGB is HUGE (I mean God made it, right?)
and throw flourescent in there too? Hopeless.

I should just let them go but...

It was actually printing as a spot so no issue there. But drove me crazy that the spot showed up as gray in our virtual imposed proof.

Our new Xante Enpress is having a problem printing a Reflex Blue at the moment. Doesn't look like any reflex blue I've ever seen.

Reflex Blue will always rear it's ugly head..... in the past, present and future it seems.

That colour is cursed!

Joe

Especially when it is the Pantone + Reflex Blue being printed on a printer using CMYK toner. :puke2:

yeah difficult sometimes

Had problems with the Xante a few years back, which made me try everything
Try Coated spots vs Uncoated and trying printing to it with Acro color management
instead of same as source.

Yours is a newer Xante tho, so not sure if this workaround will work

Most jobs I send to the Xante I send Coated, and I always send as acro color
the occasional one I will have to use same as source.

all other copiers use same as source.
