We have a new XP server that I need to set up users on which I did (windows to me is like Portuguese).

I can mount the server  but cant access the volume I need shows a red minus sign on the folder. I figured out how to make a user an admin to get access but don't really want everyone to have admin privileges as I'm dangerous enough.

Whats the proper way to give someone access to a volume to read and write?

Thanks

Joe

I think from the Security tab of the share you add in "Everyone" and then check the boxes you want to give them permissions to do.
