Does anyone do this at their shop or involved in prepping files for it? We're bringing in some new equipment to print on fabric (tshirts, bags, etc). I'm kinda excited about it even though it's another coffin nail for our offset department.

I found a good screen printing forum I'm going to check out. If anyone knows of any good online references please share.

used to bust out 1-color shirt jobs in the garage on a homemade press years back. kinda groovy, until its novelty wore off and became work.

I've just gotten into screen printing at home. Have printed 2 shirts and an apron. Preparing the screens is the laborious part.

This one's for youston. He may get something in his mailbox someday soon.  :hello:

yeah, cleaning/exposing screens suck.. i think it falls somewhere just below bindery work. im normally very careful and neat, but screen printing brought out my messy side. fingerprints everywhere.. eventually i found a website where i can just upload my artwork and they would send me an exposed screen to my specs, cheaper than i could have done it.. But then again, doing the whole process was the experience...

i used to do some designs for my bro's band (before it imploded) thats what got me started, after that, it was all paintball related and anti-authority crap..

I only messed around with it in high school. Chose Subhumanz Time Flies But Aeroplanes Crash album art for my design.

The unicorn has a pretty red star that reminds me of communism. It's magical and fantastical.  :hello:
I'm mesmerized...

Now that's the kind of Obamacorn I've been wishing for.

I got one that screws and that's good enough for now.

I was looking at the unicorn.
