That was your first problem.

Take a picture of this unicorn salesman that actually knows what a .ai is and what program to open it with.
Speed doesn't kill, rapidly becoming stationary is the problem

I'd rather have stories told than be telling stories of what I could have done.

The salesman said he could open the file on his pc, no way with a zero kb
he musta been opening the original,
there i go believing a salesman

Thanks DCS, I was going crazy

Your Sales-Puke... now you know why I call them that... is either lying, or never looked at it. Or, looked at the original file, like you said. I would still even question that he did. More like, not wanting to call the customer and do his/her job. They are all EXACTLY like that here.

Because they always assume you don't know what you are talking about and think they do. :death:

And when cornered, they say, "that's your job."

I once had a sales puke who was e-mailing me a file, and sent his Launcher app instead (OS 9 days). I had to get my supervisor on the phone to look at my screen and tell the guy Yup, that's what he sent.

update: new file #3 comes thru 0 kb
I go to his computer and it's ok, I go to my pc mail and it's fine
It's on the Mac that it's 0-kb

Their still sales slime tho

Farabomb

zip it.

Serious, it could be getting porked in the email or sneakernet it with a thumb drive.

born2print

oh yeah, add appendix? (.ai or .eps)
Those days are gone forever
I should just let them go but...

Possum

I've had that happen. Try putting it on a thumb drive to take to your computer if you can, although that's not foolproof either. I've had those empty files.

Or have the customer and/or Sales Puke zip the file before transmitting.
