Just a thought, not claiming to be right, wrong, or ???
Host your site(s) with a different company then your email services.
I had used HostGator just to host our company Wordpress - website, along with a few others...but recently changed to SiteGround for this - https://www.siteground.com/web-hosting.htm (mainly due to some billing errors/increases, & responsiveness).
Never used email services from any of these companies, as we use the 'google apps for business' and have been very happy with uptime and spam filtering with them...(yeah, it will cost 'about' $50 per user per year for google apps....but sure saves a lot of headaches) (BTW - I used to admin & host our email servers in-house, and I'm glad to have 'some' of my sanity back by letting the 'goog' do it for me (us)).

plus, have a look at your router and computer parental controls to control the online time(s) and safe sites to visit.

Just an idea, look at setting up her own gmail account, then in the setting for the account you can turn on account delegation for that account to your account.

This gives you access to the account from you main account without having to forward everything to your account. (Although you can still do this if you set up filters to forward all messages).

This allows you to access her account without having to login to it separately, you use your main account and you can select her account to look/monitor.

Of course, you should always have her account password to force a login (setting up 'rules' with her not to alter the account, but this would only be needed to setup the delegation settings.

RAMpage / Re: Refreshing/Rebuilding PageList
February 05, 2016, 02:33:56 PM
Take your Rampage processes offline (on the Rampage PC's) -  (click the yellow OFF button on each process you have open)
On the Rampage PC, click the utility menu -->reconstruct pagelist.
Grab a cup of coffee.
Turn on processes when the rebuild completes.

(I would quit my Mac Rampage Clients during the rebuild, but I don't think there is any harm if they stay open...just nothing will process)

dependant on the paper type and weight, we have to score a lot of our digital covers.

We have a Fiery front end for our Ricoh/Heidelberg 901/Linoprint.
Fiery drives 'most' devices it seem these days...
Although we use a version/license for Prinect called DPM (Digital Print Manager) that preflights/imposes/color manages the device...

Just passing along the warning email I received over the weekend....

Dear Fiery user,

Thank you for choosing the leading digital front end for your print operations.

Fiery® digital front ends are specially designed systems combining an operating system with Fiery software and custom electronics. As such, Fiery servers running Windows® 7 or Windows 8.1 will not support the Windows 10 upgrade directly on the server.  Please do not install Windows 10 directly on your Fiery server.

If the Fiery server is upgraded to Windows 10, it will not operate and the system will have to be rebuilt from original software disks or backup images.

Microsoft announced that a Windows 10 upgrade can be performed through Windows Updates starting July 29th. A "Get Windows 10" notification may pop up on your Fiery server asking you to upgrade to Windows 10. Please dismiss the notification.

EFI has created a Fiery patch, based on a solution from Microsoft, which disables the pop-up and prevents the Fiery server from being upgraded to Windows 10.

You can get the patch from your Fiery supplier or download it from fiery.efi.com/disable-windows10.

Contact your Fiery supplier for more information.

Sincerely,

Your Fiery team

Note: EFI strongly recommends that you perform a full backup of the system image on a regular basis. In the event of an accidental Windows 10 update, the backup image can be used to restore the Fiery server so it will operate normally.

To create a backup image, use the tool specific to the Fiery system:

For Fiery FS100 Pro servers and later, use Fiery System Restore located on DVD1 of your Fiery media kit.
For Fiery System 10 servers and earlier use the Fiery Clone Tool. See web page for instructions.

The Rest... / Re: Barcode plug-in for Indesign
May 28, 2015, 10:18:55 AM
Just use a barcode font for the variable type box. Make sure you format the number properly (some formats need an "*" before and after the code (i.e. *123456789*)

call epson.
last time i had the 040 errors on my 9880, a tech walked me through clearing it....but mentioned when it happens again NOT to use the procedure as I could damage my machine (as parts DO need to be replaced)

My only note on this for the 9880 was :
Maintenance Request 0040 - Cleared "cleaning" param in the  "self-test" mode - down arrow, middle button, right arrow upon power-up.

I think the offer was replaced, but it looks like there is a new similar bundle at the same price.

UPDATE:
Had Ricoh tech in today for various service tasks. Showed him samples of the registration issue I was experiencing. Short story is that he was able to resolve this for us.
I'm sorry I don't know exactly what was done as I was too busy elsewhere in the shop...but something about a dirty sensor(s) was mentioned...

RAMpage / Re: Rampage Version 13 and Yosemite
April 24, 2015, 08:02:15 AM
Have Rampage v13 build#70 with the 13.0b19 client.
Most of my stations are on 10.8.5 right now, but I have used the client on a 10.10.3 machine and didn't notice any problems.
