Title: Imagesetter Compressor
Post by: Tracy on October 17, 2016, 08:05:11 AM
Does anyone know the size of the tank needed for Trendsetter 800 II?
I currently have a 60 gallon tank, and I'm hoping I can go with a smaller Compressor.
Wondering if a 20 gallon would work?

60 gallon has 10.3 CFM
and We have a 20 gallon compressor that has 10.5 CFM
So I think it will work!
Thanks!

So I gotta get the pressman to help me install a new compressor.
I hate having him help, he's so mean.
I wish I could do it myself.

I'm going to look for compressors today, since the compressor won't be as tall as my current one, I will
need to add line to go lower. I want to add a water trap too, which I don't think will be a problem
just put it int the same place as the last one.

Any thoughts or prayers?

Compressor is working fine, my husband taught me some stuff about air compressors
The paperwork says to use SAE 30 Non detergent oil, Is this a synthetic oil?
I'm thinking F-bomb will know the answer

Very slow and I'm just reading up on maintenance

I'm in no way a mechanic or an engine expert but I don't think it is synthetic unless it is labeled on the can.

It's a straight weight oil that can be either synthetic or dino based. It is NOT car oil. Take a trip over to Tractor Supply or Home Despot and they should have it.
