Over 5 years ago I got an copy of estimation software. I magically got it to work somehow even with the needed server missing and it not having an install .exe. It was a combination of dumb luck, registry entries and the limited info I could find on the net. I told the boss to look into alternatives becasue it had a limited lifespan.

Well, the computer got hijacked by ransomware so that install is toast. Revived the computer with a new drive and a fresh install but for I can't get the software working again. We're back to doing quotes on paper but I would like to figure out how to make a spreadsheet to automate the process a little. With the boss out often I'm now handling more of the estimation so I'd like to make it easier. Any advice would be welcome.

I have a FileMaker database we use for quotes if you would like to have a copy of it. It will be tomorrow evening before I have access to it though.

Sweet! I should be able to open the excel in libre office. I took a look at filemaker pro but there isn't an android option so that might be out.
