I'm really wondering, why Kodak didn't make a this possibility to make a such a layout till now, 2022?
I'll remember, on old good days when we used a TrueFlow with FlatWorker, there was a possibility to make a such a layout.

Is there a possibility to make a layout like this? Pages with different sizes.
Let's say, first page (1) is a 99x210mm, but last page (4) is a 188x210mm? (Like a flap(s) or something)
Can it done by Create Imposition? Or should it do always manually?

But If I remember correctly, Kodak teacher who setup up our system and we got from him about 2 weeks practices, he told us to keep all job files on Evo Server. Bump...
Early, before Kodak we holding all our stuff on separate fileserver. And there wasn't any mentioning of perfomance hit. At least we didn't experied of this.
Our early system was from Screen, Trueflow v5.X. It was nice workflow, BUT it's a 32-bit system and opening Flatworker templates was so-so painfully slow.
The main reason we changed our system, we got new press machine and chemical free plate machine.
At least, now we have 64-bit system with lots of RAM, etc.

As I understand, all, Evo and Connect are depend from database.
So making just shares on another server and copy/move files is not a option at all.

Is it possible to moveor set up Prinergy Evo JobData folder to network share or to another computer?
Or should it be strongly only on Evo Server?

Hello all, need some help!
Excause me if the question in wrong thread.

We have totally new system/software/hardware from Kodak: Dell server, Prinergy Evo 8.2 and Preps 8.4, chemical free plate machine etc. quite nice
Also we have Epson SC-T5200 printer for making softproofs, for us, to double check our right imposition layout and folding layout.
At the moment we have Evo template to make PDF (softproof-to-plotter) from JDF. Then we are opening PDF in Acrobat Pro and printing it manually to our Epson SC-T5200 printer.

Is it possible (if yes, then how) to make template for Evo (and hotfolder, example: \\EVO-Server\JobData\PDF) to print our layouts automatically from hotfolder to Epson SC-T5200 printer?
It's quite annoying to open PDF layout and print it manually to printer...
