Since installing Big Sur my Shortcut icons turn white sometimes
I recreate the shortcuts and some of them stay for awhile, I found online
that I need to clear the icon cache, anyone else having this issue?
It says to copy this into terminal

Joe

Haven't seen that issue. Have you tried running those terminal commands

No, I will be brave and do it  ;D

Joe

If deleting/replacing them doesn't keep them correct than my guess is the terminal thing will only be a temporary fix. But it can't hurt to try.

it said operation not permitted
I do need to reinstall Big Sur because of the HD Data thing, maybe that will fix it

Joe

Well it might. Only on way to find out.

that one didn't work but this one did

/System/Library/Frameworks/CoreServices.framework/Versions/A/Frameworks/LaunchServices.framework/Versions/A/Support/lsregister -kill -r -domain u -domain s -domain l -v

scared the crap out of me tho I had to restart but then I had to do a hard shut down and start back up
to get everything up.

I then did a get info on the icons, which is suppose to be the fix, and all the icons are back!
