Any settings in Backstage to make a PDF that retains links?
Because it feels good !

David

Are you asking about an Esko Scope PDF or a PDF exported out of Esko?

An exported Scope PDF will have the images embedded (like most PDFs made on a Mac/PC, unless you use OPI when generating it from a source file like Quark or Indesign), and I don't see an option for it in my BackStage Pilot to maintain any links either.

pardon for asking, but what is it you need this for?

We want Backstage to keep links so we can import(using OPI) into ArtPro and hold links.
Because it feels good !

ahh.

I don't use ArtPro, can it not just open a Scope PDF?

You know you can open them on the Mac in Acrobat.

I just tried a scope and it seemed to work.(but tifs were written)
Now we need to try a scope with OPI.

In your Scope file, do you have internal ct's or are they external tiffs or eps files?
